Job Description:
VOTEINDIA movement is intent on using the power of internet
for spreading its message and mobilizing public opinion on
a large scale. For this purpose a website www.voteindia.org
has been launched. The goal is to deploy and maintain an interactive
and appealing website which will attract viewers in general
and youth in particular and make them visit the site on a
regular basis. The website should also serve as a vehicle
for raising resources. The Web Master will be responsible
for the design, deployment and maintenance of the web site.
Job Specifications:
- ·Ability to design interactive web sites.
- Expertise in web technologies, especially HTML and ASP
based design and coding.
- Expertise with web related tools such as Dream Weaver,
Photo Shoppe, Flash etc.
- Expertise in basic data base design.
- Familiarity with on line payment processing technologies
and related security issues.
- Ability to update and maintain the web site on a regular
basis.
- Skilled in trouble shooting, hosting and related technical
problems.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor's degree
in any discipline along with the appropriate technical qualification
and have at least 3 years experience in designing and maintaining
interactive web sites.
